Student Life

Our student's enjoy a wide-range of fun educational and faith-based activities inside and outside of the classroom! Check back regularly to see what we're up to!

100th Day

Our kindergarten class celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up like 100-year-olds! From gray hair to canes, we had so much fun!

A Day in the Life of a Fairlawn Lutheran Student!

We’ve been so busy having fun and learning that we can hardly believe it’s already a new year! Every day, our students and staff live by these words: We Pray. We Play. We Learn. Just take a look for yourself!

Tis the Season!

Our Kindergarten Class hosted Fairlawn Lutheran Church Braille Ministry Team for "Snacks-giving!"

What better way to kick off the holiday season than by spending time with our friends in the Braille Ministry team? Our Kindergarten class worked together to set the tables, prepare snacks, and organize activities for everyone to enjoy. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to build valuable social skills. We love seeing our church and school communities come together—especially when it’s over tasty treats and fun crafts!

Back to School!

Our Kindergarten class kicked off the school year last week, and we’re thrilled to see them off to a great start! It’s a joy to welcome both new and returning students as we work to ensure that everyone—students and families alike—feels comfortable and excited for this new adventure!

Field Trips

Making New Friends at The Village of St. Edward

The students of 4C recently visited residents at The Village of St. Edward Assisted Living center, where they sang songs, colored Thanksgiving Placemats and Christmas ornaments, and enjoyed snacks together!

This trip was truly a blessing for the students and residents.

Luther's Farm

Fairlawn Lutheran students attend class field trips each year, with Luther's Farm being a favorite! The kids enjoy a hayride, story-time, and other fun activities.

Having a blast at Summer Camps!

Each week the children enjoy different activities associated with that week's camp theme! The kids spend most of their time outside as weather permits, and have snack and lunch together!

Our camps run for 6 weeks during June and July, and sign-ups go out to the families toward the end of school year.

Church and School

Our students enjoy weekly chapel with children's message and age-appropriate Bible stories. As you can see, the kids are always actively involved in learning about God!
